Define success of a servant leader

Last week I got recognized for showing leadership and challenging the status quo. After several days where nothing seemed right, where I felt that things were moving backwards, and the work that I did was just not good enough, getting kudos for standing my ground was a good end of the week.

It got me thinking what leadership, especially, servant leadership really means. What about you?
