Hello, it’s Daria here. I’m the founder of ScrumMastered.
I’m here to help you navigate Agile and Scrum.
Let me show you how to get started regardless of where you are right now: whether you are new to Agile, you are already certified, or you have Scrum experience.
1
First step is to learn the Agile fundamentals as it will help you with understanding the Scrum framework.
Here are the steps you can take to elevate your knowledge and kick-start your Agile journey.
Take your learning to the next step by registering for my online course 'Fundamentals of Agile'. In this course I walk you through every value and principle of agility, as well as introduce you to Scrum values and principles through practical exercises and examples. Thanks to this course you will build strong understanding of Agile and new skills that will be invaluable in your career.
2
The next step is to dive into the Scrum framework itself once you have a good enough understanding of Agile.
If you want to become a Scrum Master OR if you want to implement Scrum in your team, you have to have a good understanding of the framework.
You can attend classes, or learn online. But be careful which resources you use as there are lots of bad content out there.
Attending an official Scrum class is the easiest way not only to learn the theory, but see it applied in practice through exercises. A live class is also a great opportunity to ask questions to strengthen your knowledge and help you understand more complex topics. You can sign up for a Professional Scrum Master class (PSM) or an Applying Professional Scrum class (APS).

If you are looking for a career in the Agile domain, certification is a must. There are two main Scrum organizations that provide highly recognized certificates: Scrum.org and Scrum Alliance.
This certification is especially important if you want to become a Scrum Master and you currently don’t have experience or have very little experience.
Consider PSM I certification with Scrum.org
Feel ready to test your knowledge? Try out my free true-or-false quiz to check your understanding of the framework. This will help you get ready for tougher assessment questions. If you are planning to take the Professional Scrum Master exam with Scrum.org, you can take they free open assessments to get ready as well.
